A new monthly event hosted by Hastings based trio The Housecarls, featuring local emerging and established artists, kicks-off on Saturday 16th May 8pm, at The White Horse, Bodle Street Green.
The Housecarls have been building up a reputation in the local area with their literate, melodic, roots-infused rock pop. The trio consists of singer/guitarist Danny Goring, drummer Darren Barnes and bassist Joe Pruessner. The White Horse Inn provides an intimate and welcoming environment for this musical evening promoting a rich homegrown musical heritage. Housecarls frontman Danny Goring hails from the local area and has been involved in community music making for many years. This music has now coalesced into Warbletone – a collective of musicians, songwriters and music lovers which takes its name from the village where some of the members grew up. This first event organised by Warbletone will feature talented young singer-songwriter Erin Colley from Hastings.
Entry is free but donations by way of a hat or jug are welcome
